Cathedral To Host School of Healing Through Encounter Ministries
LEXINGTON — The Cathedral of Christ the King will host a School of Healing in the parish hall June 11-12 and a healing service on June 12. Both events will be led by Deacon Russell Feldkamp and Daniel Rodriguez of Encounter Ministries.
These two events (click for flyer 1, click for flyer 2) are part of the lead-up to the launch of an Encounter School of Ministry at Christ the King. It will be one of over 20 campuses around the country and abroad for this apostolate.
The Encounter School of Ministry offers a unique opportunity for people to grow in knowledge and gifting of the Holy Spirit, through a two-year curriculum, as well as a safe place to learn and practice prayer and to grow in relationship with God. Students are taught, through Scripture and the tradition of the Church, how to bring the power of Gospel into their spheres of influence.
A four-evening Summer Intensive is also offered (click for flyer), which provides a sample of the first year’s curriculum for those interested in enrolling in the fall semester.
