Bishop John has authorized a special second collection in response to the devastation caused by Hurricane Harvey in Texas.  The long term impact will be felt throughout the surrounding region as residents flee their homes for immediate shelter and long term recovery.  

The collection proceeds will be sent to Catholic Charities USA who is the official domestic relief agency of the Catholic Church.  CCUSA delivers a coordinated “on the ground” response for disaster relief and recovery efforts by providing short and long-term assistance for those whose everyday lives have been devastated.
