Please come to the potluck dinner and presentation next Sunday, January 28, after the 9:30am Mass.
Our speaker will be Debbie Goonan, who has extensive experience with refugees. Debbie will talk with us about needs of refugees and immigrants, as well as gifts they bring us.
As people who are interested in Peace and Justice concerns--we tend to care for those who are "the least of these." Immigrants and refugees are among the least of these across the world right now.
This is a potluck, so bring a dish and your family. We hope to have good representation from many of Good Shepherd's ethnicities--which can give us lots of good food! If you have a favorite dish with ethnic roots, bring it! We hope to make this dinner a celebration of diversity, as well as a time to learn how we might "Share the Journey" with our brothers and sisters from other lands.
We will be available to receive food from 9 am on Sunday morning. Expectation is that dinner and program will be finished by 1 pm.
