To encourage us to pray for those who have died, each November the Church grants powerful indulgences to anyone who visits a cemetery and prays for those who have died. Normally, this plenary indulgence only applies November 1-8, but this year, because of COVID, Pope Francis has extended the benefits through the whole month. We will meet in the Frankfort cemetery at 3 pm each day, November 1-8, in the chapel building at the top of the hill. We will say a rosary and pray some other brief prayers, including the Prayer of St. Gertrude. Social distancing and COVID precautions will be followed. All are welcome to come one day or all eight days.
