Each meeting will be a combination of food, fun, prayer, and fellowship. But most importantly, it will bring about the immeasurable rewards received by the meditation and recitation of the Rosary.
The focus of each meeting will be developing a deep appreciation, understanding, and love of the priceless gift of the Rosary through the discussion and observation of classical religious art depicted by the world's greatest artists.
Other aspects of the group will be to memorize key Catholic phrases and prayers in Latin and there will also be opportunities to learn the skill of making rosaries and knotted rosary bracelets. The group will also participate in Church and community volunteer opportunities as they arise.
The club will meet on the 4th Monday of each month, 5:30pm--7:30pm, in room 5 of the Parish Life Center, during the school year months. A nutritious meal will be provided at each meeting.
The only cost to join the club will be a donation to cover the purchase of the book,
The Rosary in Art, by Seton Press. Suggested donation is $20. (Financial assistance is available if the cost of the book is a hardship.)
