Hospitality Greeters Before Weekend Masses
Volunteers arrive early and stand near the entrance to welcome visitors and other parishioners as they enter the church.
To help with this ministry, contact Suzette Polson at suzette.polson@kysu.edu.
Ushers
Before Mass starts, ushers are responsible for selecting individuals or a family as Gift Bearers for the Offertory and
they usher parishioners to their seats. They also coordinate the offertory collection, pass out bulletins, and tidy the worship space after Mass.
Assignment frequency depends on number of volunteers.

Kings Daughters Apartments Lunch Ministry
How would you like to experience the joy of serving a home cooked meal to senior citizens,
most of whom are unable to cook for themselves? Then this is the ministry for you.
At present, we have three teams who cook on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Saturdays of the month.
We would like to grow this ministry to be able to do every weekend!
We usually have 5-6 volunteers at each luncheon who bring drinks, meat, side dishes, breads, desserts, and fruit--
usually enough food to serve around 50 residents with enough leftovers for them to take back to their apartments for later.
Our present team leaders are Mayra Luna, Mary Ortwein, and Judy Collins.
We can always use volunteers who will offer to cook, serve, or donate to the ministry.
For more info about this rewarding ministry, contact Judy Collins at 502-472-4600.
Live Stream Team
Helpers in this outreach ministry take turns running the streaming computer at the Sunday 9:30am Masses (usually once per month).
This just requires arriving 15-20 minutes before Mass and basic computer skills. You will be trained and given written instructions.
High School students would be welcome on this team as well as adults.
Please contact Stephanie at the parish office for more info. (ssims@gssfrankfort.org)
Jail Ministry
The Franklin County Regional Jail is again welcoming volunteers from churches in the Frankfort area to conduct Bible studies and prayer sessions for inmates. Good Shepherd would like to again form a team of people to do this ministry. We need both men and women volunteers to be able to minister to both sexes at the jail. All volunteers are required to attend a training session at the jail before beginning this ministry.
Contact Deacon Mike Lynch for more info at: mlynch@cdlex.org or at 502-229-3433.
